Stones that are extremely fine quality and have not been heat treated often have an ocean blue/green color. They will also be free of visible inclusions to the eye. The depth of the color is extremely important. To add depth and bring out the rich blue color cutters often cut Aquamarines in step, rectangular, or oval shapes.
